The department participated in the ICA SP-CON2026 academic conference along with 7 other educational institutions.
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Department of Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, participated in The 17th Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Senior Project Conference (ICA SP-CON 2026) at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. The aim was to bring together graduating students in instrumentation, control, automation, and mechatronics engineering to present collaborative and integrated projects, and to facilitate the exchange of teaching methods among faculty members from 7 departments at 7 participating institutions:
1. Chulalongkorn University (CU)
2. Kasetsart University (KU)
3. Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology Thammasat University (SIIT (TU))
4. King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL)
5. King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB)
6. King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Rayong Campus
7. King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)
In this regard, students from the Department of Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering received 2 awards: The Best Poster Award for the projects "Digital Twin for UR5 Robot using AR Phase 2" and "Dirt Monitoring System for Solar Panel".
