What do our alumni do after graduation?

Many may wonder what the department studies and where graduates can work. In short, the department teaches about industrial automation systems. Current technology involves computer systems, network technology, and embedded measurement systems. The curriculum focuses specifically on the industrial market, using international standards to define details at each level. Industries related to automation can be divided into three groups:

1. Process Control : Industries with continuous raw material flow and ongoing operation. Examples include oil refineries, gas separation plants, petrochemical plants, cement plants, and power plants.
2. Manufacturing Process : Industries focused on assembly, where production steps may be discontinuous or segmented. Examples include automobile assembly plants, electrical appliance factories, and automotive parts factories.
3. Batch Process : Industries that combine Process Control and Manufacturing Process, where production methods can be adapted to the product. Examples include the pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries.
