Teaching and learning

The department prioritizes innovative teaching and learning across all years. It integrates teaching and learning between subjects, year levels, and other faculties through Project-Based Learning (PBL). Students produce semester-level projects each year, fostering teamwork, planning, independent research, and systematic presentation. In the fourth year, students undertake a specialized research project, providing them with foundational research skills.

Examples of projects are shown below.

• First-year students taking the Computer Programming for INC Engineer course.
• The staff will send the results back via email.
• Second-year students taking the Electronic Device and Digital Circuit Design course.
• Third-year students, course: Instrumentation and Control System Practice.

In addition to innovations in teaching and learning, there are also innovations in the curriculum, where students will study more interdisciplinary courses. The subject groups will include:

• Systems-related subjects
• Subject group related to measurement.
• The academic group related to industrial control.
• Computer-related subjects
• Mechanical engineering
• Industrial engineering

Under the new curriculum, students will be able to choose from four areas of specialization:

• Embedded systems and measurement group (sensor and embedded system)
• Automatic control systems group (instrumentation and control)
• Industrial Information Technology Group
• The research and development team includes areas such as artificial intelligence systems, image processing systems, audio processing systems, and biomolecular systems.
