Abstract

                In cassava plant process consists of many unit. But in rasper unit it have to use highest power consumption and there are many factors that affect to rasper unit. In addition, the rasper unit require high experienced operator to control and operate it. If it lack of experienced operator it may affect to other units or affect to product of plant. So this project we will present ‘Machine monitoring system for rasper unit in cassava production process’ . It use principle of the current transformer to reduce current from rasper unit. Use PLC to retrieve the data from current transformer and keep data on your computer. Then data were analyzed by statistical tools such as Histogram, X chart and Sigma chart to develop rule base. At last we can use rule base to detect condition of rasper from computer that operator can check and it can alarm when it go wrong condition. It is easier to solve problems from rasper.
