ประวัติ :

Roengrut Rujanakraikarn received the B.Eng. in Control Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand in 1998. He started his professional work as a natural gas measurement engineer at Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) after his bachelor’s degree. In 2001, he received the Royal Thai Government Scholarship to pursue his graduate study in Electrical Engineering in the USA where he completed his M.S. at The Ohio State University in 2003, and Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. After graduation, he joined Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization) or SLRI as a Research Engineer. His research benefits from 14+ years of expertise at SLRI in embedded systems (FPGAs and ARM-based MCUs), robotics, and computer vision solutions. His contribution also involves developing advanced systems for real-time control and smart electronics and sensors, leveraging AI model development techniques to enhance automation. Since March 2026, he has been with the Department of Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi as a Lecturer. His research interests include automatic control, signal processing, real-time smart electronics, and applications of Artificial Intelligence in embedded systems and robotics.
