Abstract

In present, because of demographic change, in Thailand the number and proportion of elderly increased rapidly; which results in the structure of the population are now moving into a phase called “Elder Population”. The following impact is aged health problems. These changes make elderly more vulnerable to disease, disability and even death. Thus a health care becomes more necessary for the elderly to stay healthy.
From the Smart device for elderly phase I, that has slowly process when the user wants to show the information at the same time. Temperature sensor has low respond. We will develop that in phase II. This project builds a smart mobile device system for elderly health. It can measure basic information of human body such as body skin temperature, heart rate and motion. There are two main parts in this device. The first part is measuring device. Body skin temperature was measured by using infrared sensor, heart rate was measured by using the pulse sensor, motion was detecting by using the accelerometer sensor. The second part, control unit, Nodecmu is used in this project as control unit. Recorded data were sent to the database which used Raspberry PI II as server. Moreover, the data were display basic information including data and graphs on any devices throw my web browser.
