BENJAMAS PANOMRUTTANARUG

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR


Dr. Benjamas Panomruttanarug obtained her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, graduating with second-class honors, from Mahidol University in 1999. Subsequently, in 2000, she was awarded a scholarship by the Royal Thai Government to pursue her master's and PhD degrees at Columbia University. She successfully completed both degrees in 2002 and 2006, respectively. Currently, Dr. Panomruttanarug holds the position of lecturer in the Department of Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). 

Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Panomruttanarug has had the opportunity to enhance her knowledge and expertise through various international experiences. She has served as a visiting scholar at esteemed institutions including UEC in Japan, ENAC in France, TU Graz in Austria, and Heidelberg University in Germany. Her research interests primarily revolve around Iterative Learning Control (ILC), as well as the application of vision and control in autonomous vehicles and robotic manipulators.

Dr. Panomruttanarug's extensive educational background, combined with her international exposure and expertise in multiple areas, make her a valuable contributor to the field of control systems and instrumentation engineering. Her commitment to advancing research and knowledge in autonomous vehicles and robotic manipulators is evident through her academic achievements and continuous pursuit of excellence.
