Why choose a faculty of future trends?

Because you will have study for 4 years. By the time you graduate, the technology you’ve once known four years ago is already outdated or not popular anymore. What do you do? You suddenly think that the 4 years you spent studying technology, that is now outdated, was worthless. But what about when you study faculties focused on future trends? What are they, exactly? To answer, we are referring to the trend of the aging society. In 10 years, Thailand’s elderly citizens will take up more than 20% of the population since less people are born. Thus, there is a great decline in the country’s workforce. Additionally, part of this workforce of capable and healthy people is used to take care of the elderly population increasing day by day. To replace the workforce society lacks, the country will substantially need machines and robots to work for humans in the future ahead. Automation Engineering is a faculty that deals with using machines to work instead of humans. We have divided it into 2 approaches, namely Factory Automation and Home Automation. For Factory Automation, automated machines, robots and AI technology are used in the manufacturing sector to produce goods while for Home Automation, those machines and robots provide service to humans in their households. Studying Automation Engineering, students will learn about modern machine control technology, most of which are computerized. The course also includes subjects related to computers and embedded systems used to support Home Automation technology, a path that many start-ups are developing themselves to support the aging society in the future.
